CLU®, (Chartered Life Underwriter): The CLU® is the world's most respected mark of insurance expertise. Because the comprehensive core of CLU knowledge is supplemented by a broad selection of elective courses, you can customize the program to the dynamics of your business.

ChFC®, (Chartered Financial Consultant): The ChFC® program offers financial planners and others in financial services the advanced education they need to better assist clients in this increasingly competitive field. Key concepts and applications in a variety of planning areas, such as: Time value of money, Role of risk tolerance in client decisions, Lifetime estate transfers, Regulatory and ethical considerations, Legal principles of insurance and much more.

The Regulatory Element Program: For Registered Representatives consists of periodic computer-based training on regulatory, compliance, ethical, supervisory subjects, and sales practice standards. Registered persons are required to participate and complete a designated Regulatory Element within a 120-day period that commences with the second anniversary of their initial securities registration, and reoccur every three years thereafter for as long as they remain in the securities business.

CFP®, (Certified Financial Planner): For professionals who want to pass the CFP® examination and gain deep, practical knowledge to transform their practices, The American College is the educational provider of choice. This number one program satisfies all of the educational requirements allowing participants to sit for the CFP® examination. Becoming a CFP® professional requires the completion of four steps.

  • You must complete an education program; once you complete an accredited education program, you can write the CFP® Exam.
  • In order to obtain the CFP® designation, you need to have two years of financial planning related experience. This experience can be obtained before or after writing the CFP® Exam.
  • Before becoming licensed, you must disclose past or pending litigation, agree to abide by the FPSC Code of Ethics and acknowledge the right of FPSC to enforce the Code of Ethics.
  • Once you become a CFP® professional, each year you must attest that you have complied with the FPSC Code of Ethics and have met the annual Continuing Education requirements. The CFP® professional must be renewed annually.
